Aric Pryor

President

Mr. Pryor has extensive experience in Automation Systems Design and Project Management Experience in the Manufacturing, Metals, Plastics, Material Handling, Food and Beverage, and Mining industries. His responsibilities include project leadership, system concept development and detailed design of automation control systems that include programmable logic controller, motor controls (drives) and operator interface systems. These involve machine and process system design and specifying equipment through design, fabrication, software development, installation, commissioning, and training. Mr. Pryor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.

Todd Beck

Senior Project Manager - Controls & Automation

Mr. Beck has 15+ years of Automation System Design, Implementation and Project Management Experience in the Manufacturing, Automotive, Electronics, Material Handling, Food and Beverage, and Mining industries. His responsibilities include systems concept, development, design and implementation. His system designs included programmable logic controllers, robotics, vision systems, motor controls (drives), operator interface systems, motion control (servo drives), process testing systems and DCS.  Mr. Beck holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering form ITT Tech.

David Clardy

Senior Vice President - Products

David Clardy joined Matrix in 2006 when it was acquired by Alliance Resource Partners, bringing practical technology expertise in mining and management skills to Matrix. Mr. Clardy has been key team member in leading Matrix communications, tracking, atmospheric monitoring, and proximity detection products to a leadership position in the US mining market. Prior to his current position, Mr. Clardy held key technology positions at Alliance Coal including Sr. Network Engineer. Mr. Clardy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Oklahoma State University and an MBA degree from the University of Tulsa.

Allen Harding

Vice President - Operations

Mr. Harding has vast experience in Project Management and Land Use Planning. His responsibilities include project leadership to ensure that all projects have the best resources available and the optimum number of team members to make The Company's projects a success. He serves as project management consultant with extensive experience in project planning, cost and schedule management, and requirements analysis. Mr. Harding holds a degree in Civil Engineering Technology from the University of Southern Indiana, Evansville.

Tracy Hayford

Director  -  Technology and Development

 
Mr. Hayford has 30+ years of engineering, systems design, project management and product development experience in the manufacturing, metals, plastics, material handling, water system and mining industries. Prior to joining Matrix, Mr. Hayford managed large capital projects for a major aluminum producer, led a multi-discipline engineering team, supervised plant start-ups as a consulting engineer and provided technical design and project management for aluminum rolling mill drive system and mill control upgrades.  His responsibilities include leadership of new product development, system architecture and technology, and software development.  He has helped direct Matrix Design Group to successful development and deployment of first and second generation miner tracking and communications systems to a significant portion of the mining community.  Mr. Hayford holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.

Randy Moore

Director of Engineering

Mr. Moore has 20+ years of engineering, systems design, project management, product development, manufacturing, machine automation, and systems controls design.  His system designs include programmable logic controllers, robotics, vision systems, material handling and operator interface systems. Prior to joining Matrix, Mr. Moore project managed large capital projects using multi axis articulated arm robotics, utilizing Fanuc, Motoman and ABB in major automotive accounts throughout the US and Europe.  Mr. Moore has direct experience in plant relocations, plant layout, engineering systems and startups.  Mr. Moore has been a key member of Matrix' product development staff and possesses superb project and personnel management skills.

Craig Money

Director of Engineering - Controls & Automation

Mr. Money has many years of Automation Systems Design and Project Management Experience in the Manufacturing, Metals, Plastics, Material Handling, Food and Beverage, and Mining industries. His responsibilities include project leadership and management, system concept development and detailed design of power distribution and automation control systems that include programmable logic controller, motor controls (VFD’s and soft starters) and operator interface systems. These involve machine and process system design and specifying equipment through design, fabrication, software development, installation, commissioning, and training. Since 2008, he has managed the entire electrical design/construction/installation of new coal mines in Kentucky and West Virginia. Mr. Money holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Indiana State University.

Kevin Kerr

Director - Field Service and Support

Mr. Kerr possesses 22 years of field service and support experience. He previously held the position of Senior Manager of IT Support and Service at IBM. Mr. Kerr has been the driving force behind the turnaround of several key accounts and territory issues while maintaining and even excelling customer satisfaction ratings. As Director of Field Service and Support, he will be responsible for field service technicians supporting METS, Proximity Detection equipment, customer phone support and returns and repairs. To compliment his 22 years of experience Mr. Kerr holds a Bachelors of Science in Business with an area in Management from Murray State University.

Aaron Megal

Project Manager - Proximity Detection

Mr. Megal has 17+ years of experience in Field Service maintenance and troubleshooting including hydraulics, internal combustion engines, and high-horsepower electric motors and generators for draglines and mill duty, 6+ years’ experience in  detailed automation control system design, installation, commissioning, and optimization of mine hoists, ventilation fans, and underground power systems, and 4+ years of experience in personnel supervision. This experience has been obtained in a number of industries including: Coal Mining, Phosphate Mining, Manufacturing, Material Handling, Electronics, and Plastics. His responsibilities include Proximity Detection project and design team leadership, work flow and resource management, and quality assurance. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering- Mechanical from the University of Southern Indiana, Evansville, IN.
