Panel Shop Technician
Matrix Design Group is seeking a panel shop technician. This team member would be responsible for electrical control panel construction and wiring, portable electrical housing fabrication and construction, underground coal mine power distribution and motor control skid construction and wiring, and various other automation and control related construction. The candidate will have to opportunity to work on various automation and power distribution projects related to the mining industry. Applicant must be a self-starter with excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to work closely with electrical engineers.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience preferred
- Safety-minded (safety must be a priority)
- Positive attitude is a MUST!
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Teamwork oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Quality minded, resourceful, and dependable
Beneficial Experience
- PLC and VFD knowledge and experience
- MSHA electrical cards
